Tammany Hall: The Tweed Ring, 1867

Chair: Sarah Martin
Vice Chair: Monica Landrove
Crisis Director: Margaret Robotham

Corruption. Greed. Extortion. The Tweed Ring.

The year is 1867. William “Boss” Tweed has manipulated his career to become both the Chairman of the Tammany General Committee and the Grand Sachem of Tammany Hall and is now on the brink of his career of political plunder. Together he and his cohorts will collude to create possible schemes for the ring to embezzle huge amounts of money from the city of New York. They will debate methods of bolstering Tammany Hall appeal in New York City’s immigrant communities and innovative ways of infiltrating city and state politics. Will the ring be able to maintain its scope and power without its corruption being revealed to the public?
