The Fall of the Berlin Wall
The year is 1989, and the Cold War seems to be thawing. The Nations of East Germany and West Germany have seen a recent warming in their relationship, with many across the globe clamoring for German reunification. This committee brings together members of the East and West German governments, with varying levels of hierarchical rank and policy specialties, in order to deal with this warming of relations and hopefully reunify the country of Germany. Decisions made by even the lowest-ranking government official can have far-reaching and even sometimes drastic effects. With the impending question of who will lead a new Germany (should one arise), committee members will wrestle with matters of domestic and international policy, all the while jockeying against each other for influence in future German affairs.
