the Final War of the ROman Empire, 32BC

A decade after Caesar's death, Rome's precarious peace is toppling. The formerly strong alliance of the Second Triumvirate between Lepidus, Antony and Octavius has frayed, and their carved up territories of the once united Roman Republic have divided the Senatus Populusque Romanus. Despite being married to Octavia, Octavius' sister, Mark Antony is in love with Cleopatra, the Egyptian queen. In this struggle for power and love, Mark Antony just betrayed Rome to form an alliance with Egypt in the Final War of the Roman Republic. If Antony and Cleopatra win this war, Rome will be theirs to rule. If they lose, they will face a certain death. Octavius is facing the same stakes, so neither party can step down from here. Antony and Cleopatra's council at Alexandria must flawlessly navigate the complicated Roman politics and diplomacy and ensure that their army defeats the Romans. Both of these tasks will be extremely difficult, with every step filled with peril — but they have no choice but to face the challenge.
